Original Mosaic Bird Bath

Any time I work in tile there is always left over cement, thinset or grout. The building industry produces so much waste and I hated to be a part of that, even if only by a yogurt container full of cement! So I fashioned a form out of screen mesh to have a place to use my excess cement and grout. Slowly I built a threesided base for a birdbath, then built a triangular bowl for the top, and finally covered the whole thing in tile. I liked it and I made it all out of stuff I would have thrown away! It sold almost immediately, so I made another. Now I have made several of these and people seem to like them, so I'm happy to have a good use for all the cement and grout I mix up.
